Shape Grabber

ShapeGrabber Incorporated designs, manufactures and markets 3D digitizing systems for industrial applications. The ShapeGrabber family of products are non-contact 3D laser scanning systems that are used for computer-aided -inspection (absolute, part-to- CAD and part-to-part) and reverse engineering. The ShapeGrabber technology allows rapid inspection of the complete part and deals effectively with complex shapes, unlike traditional methods that rely on the inspection of a few points. Surphaser

Surphaser is a fast, high-precision 3D scanner that produces complete three-dimensional models of objects of interest – models that describe both the geometry and the color of the object. Surphaser provides a unique combination of rapid scanning, high resolution, high accuracy, and large work envelope. This laser-based, single line-of-sight system uses phase-shift ranging to precisely digitize any arbitrary form from machined parts to art objects. Applications include reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, verifying molds, dies and first articles, non-contact inspection and surface inspection. It can successfully image a wide range of objects, materials and sizes and can successfully image complex surfaces including cavities and internal features.

Vitus

VITUS was developed a couple of years earlier, when we created a prototype for a sculptor. The development of the scanner is based on our industry prooven VIRO-3D technique for 3D profile measurement, inspection and the experiences we made in our core business to develop and integrate machine vision systems. Today our body scanners are used in many applications. VITUS pro scanners are generating anthropometric data bases of the world population. They are helping designers of German high quality cars to design the cockpit of cars under ergonomic aspects. They are measuring people for made-to-measure clothing or are helping to make replicas for sculptors. There are many other applications where a whole body scanner is used and where it can be used.
VITUS smart is the latest development amongst the VITUS family. It is a body scanner with considerably smaller dimensions which perfectly fits into dressing rooms in boutiques or other clothing shops. Additional scanners for partial body scanning, e.g. feet PEDUS or head VITUS ahead are available, too.

Wicks & Wilson

TriForm is a new non-contact 3D image capture system from Wicks and Wilson. This innovative image capture and processing technique digitises the surfaces of real objects, converting them to point clouds containing up to 400,000 three dimensional co-ordinates and associated colour data.
