Torque Game Engine
The Torque Game Engine (TGE) is a fully featured AAA game engine with
award winning multi-player network code, seamless indoor/outdoor rendering
engines, state of the art skeletal animation, drag and drop GUI creation,
a built in world editor, and a C-like scripting language. The $100 Indie
Game License includes source code to the engine and all the tools. This
engine was originally used by Dynamix to build several AAA titles published
by Vivendi, including Starsiege, Starsiege Tribes, Tribes II, Trophy Hunting
4, and others.
Unreal Engine
The Unreal Engine includes exporters for Discreet's 3D Studio Max and
Alias|Wavefront's Maya. These allow you to export fully textured objects
and fully textured and animated characters. We've created a character
model, and more importantly, a skeleton, that we're going to provide licensees
to help get them get quickly up to speed with facial animation techniques
in Maya. The Maya model contains 85 bones and is completely set up for
detailed facial animation.
V3X
V3X is a C/C++ 100% pure ANSI C SDK that supports both OpenGL (on Win32,
BeOS, MacOs), Direct3D (under Win32), Glide (under Dos, Win32, BeOS, MacOS),
and his own software rendering format (on Win32, BeOs, MacOs, Dos).
Virtools
Virtools offers a complete and versatile game engine (for PC, Xbox and
Mac), accessible to both technical artists (very strong GUI and a library
of ready to use "behaviors") and programmers, through the Virtools
Scripting Language (VSL, C like proprietary language) and the underlying
SDK (C++ source code). Very usefull for rapid prototyping, online games
and any type of faster professional game developments (racing, adventure,
FPS)
Visual Effects Engine - VEE
