Software Requirements
Maya requires one of the following operating systems:
Windows® XP
- Professional or Windows ® 2000 Professional (service pack
2 or higher)
- Red Hat Linux 9.0 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 WS
- SUSE Linux 9.1
- Apple® Mac® OS X 10. 3 or higher
- ATTENTION Users of the IRIX Operating System
Maya requires one of the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
- Netscape® 6 or higher
- Safari™
Hardware Requirements
At a minimum, Maya requires a system with:
- Windows: Intel® Pentium® III or higher, AMD Athlon™
processor
- Macintosh: Power Mac® G4 and G5
- 512 MB RAM
- CD-ROM Drive
- Hardware-Accelerated OpenGL® graphics card
- 3-button mouse with mouse driver software
- 450 MB of hard disk space
