Moon and Stars
Create a night sky scene.
Multi-Replicate Basics
Replication techniques for modeling in Bryce 3D
Object Subtraction
Boolean operations are so easy in Bryce once you get the basics. This
tutorial will be just the basics of boolean subtraction in Bryce.
Ocean Waves
Purpose: To create realistic ocean waves in Bryce. Programs Used: Bryce
4. This will also work with Bryce 3.1, as the new "fractal landscape"
option in the terrain editor is what is used for the ocean.
Ocean Waves
Tutorial shows how to create animated Ocean waves.
Organic modeling
Use the terrain editor to model organic, and mechanical objects.
Painting Roads On Uneven Terrains
Terrains are a powerful technique for creating landscapes. The big problem
arrives with the need to put color / texture maps that are properly aligned
to the terrain. Sure, a 3D painting program can help, but fortunately,
you don't need one.
Picture Cube
To make a picture cube, which is a cube with a different picture on
each of its six faces, is not as simple as creating a cube in Bryce and
applying an image to each side.
Planet Earth
This tutorial shows how to apply an image map to a sphere in order to
represent the Earth.
Planetary Rings
A method of creating planetary rings by modifying a Preset Material.
Poser3 to Bryce3D
Most tutorials I have come across that tell how to import a Poser3 figure
into Bryce3D explain that you should import the WaveFront Object as a
single object. I have found that importing the obj into Bryce with separate
meshes works better and gives you more options in changing the skin/clothes
textures.
Pouring Water
Create pouring water using symmetrical lattices.
Pouring Water
This is the lattice from above with bottle, sky and water plane added.
A ripple was also added at the base of the lattice in Photoshop.
Rainbows by numbers
By using combinations of these numbers you can position the rainbow
to your liking. Having positioned it you can try reducing the cloud height
and notice that at zero you can't see your rainbow.
Resizing and Repositioning
Basic object manipulation tutorial. Explains how to move, resize, and
correctly position elements within the Bryce environment.
Rotating The Camera
Basic camera manipulation tutorial.
Screens in Screens
This is the effect we are trying to create, however I will take you
through a simpler version to show the method and then explain how to create
what you see to the left.
Secret Texture Library
The sole purpose of this tutorial is to show where the Texture Library
is and how to use it.
See the Light with Bryce
This tutorial will help you learn how to place the sun where you want
it. This will not be an all inclusive tutorial, it will merely give you
guidelines to help you place the sun.
Shells and Ram's Horns
Multi-Replicate a torus to produce sea shells.
