Halloween:Building a Jack-o'-lantern
In this tutorial, we will model a pumpkin using the lofting technique.
Afterwards, we will carve the pumpkin into a jack-o'-lantern and light
it. Throughout this process, we will be creating effective textures and
lighting for our scene.
Hyper NURBS
One exciting feature of Maxon Cinema 4D XL 6.0 (www.cinema4d.com) is
a new modeling tool called Hyper NURBS. A Hyper NURBS object is a NURBS
object that smoothes an underlying polygonal object. For example, when
a flattened cube is modified with a Hyper NURBS object, the new shape
resembles a saucer. With Hyper NURBS you can convert a low-polygon object
into a high-resolution model that's organic in appearance. To showcase
Cinema 4D's Hyper NURBS, we'll create a spacecraft from a cube.
Killing Triangles in Cinema 4D XL Tutorial
If you've done any extensive modeling in Cinema 4D, you've probably
run into the nasty issue of triangles, and the fact that they can really
screw up your smoothing tag, as well as make Hypernurbs objects look poorly.
This tutorial will discuss 3 ways to get rid of those horrible triangles.
The three methods I'm going to teach are the following: Untriangulation
Manual purging Hypernurbs purging
Light Posts - Walls & Streets
In this tutorial, we will go through how you can construct a wall lamp
and a street lamp using lofts, booleans, and genlocking.
Low Polygon Modeling in Cinema 4D Tutorial: Part One
In this tutorial, I’m going to take you step by step through the
process of creating a low polygon model, in this case a futuristic battle
rifle.
Low Polygon Modeling in Cinema 4D: Part Three
Texturing your mesh
Low Polygon Modeling in Cinema 4D: Part Two
All right, now that you’ve got your Cinema 4D workspace optimized
for low poly modeling, we’re going to start doing the fun stuff,
actual modeling.

Modeling A Hand - Boning the Hand
Now that you have a hand built you can add bone deformers to control
the geometry.
Modeling a Hand Part 1
In this tutorial you are going to build a human hand with CINEMA 4D
XL's Hyper NURBS.
Modeling a Hand Part 2
Now we will extrude a finger from one facet using the same tools we
used to build our palm...

Modeling a Swimming Pool
This tutorial is a step by step guide on how to create a swimming pool
and an animated pool water texture using some of the new features in CINEMA
4D version 6.
Modeling A Tabletop
For this tabletop example you will be creating a standard plywood fold-out
office tabletop, with spline modeling.
Park Bench
This tutorial will go through the steps of creating a park bench using
Sweep NURBS, Lathe NURBS, and the Duplicate and Arrange functions.
Poser 4 To Cinema 4D XL V6
This is a tutorial on bringing Poser figures in Cinema 4d V5 a while
back but with version 6 now released things have changed. V6 now handles
Wavefront OBJ's beautifully so this will be a quick, simple tutorial.
Poser morphs in Cinema 4D XL 6 or 7 Tutorial by Steve Shanks
For a long time we have thought it wasn't possible to create a morph
target for poser figures in Cinema 4D XL. But with a bit of chatting back
and forth in the Renderosity Poser forum we managed to work it out, so
huge thanks to The Doctor and ScottA, a true team effort.
Project Based Tutorials - Human Modeling: Meissie
This tutorial will show you how to build a female model. Don't expect
to get a course in human anatomy, that's beyond the scope of this tutorial.
You will learn how you can pull a complete human figure out of a cube.
To make it more manageable, the tutorials are split up into the head,
torso, arms and legs. This section covers the building of the head.
Projector
A projector is a cool toy! This tutorial will take you through the steps
of modeling and texturing your own projector. Similar tutorials can be
found on a Film Strip and a Film Reel that can be combined to create a
complete scene.
Quick Crowns in Cinema 4D Tutorial
In this tutorial we will make a crown, a simple easy one that maybe
was worn back in the ages of old. I'll use Cinema 4D XL V7 but most
programs will be able to handle anything done here.
