Hypervoxel Metaballs
Create a default sized box with 5 segments on each axis. Select the
top row of 25 points and copy them into the next layer and stick the box
in the background layer. Move the 25 points down by 200 mm so that they
line up with the next layer of points from the box in the background layer.
Paste the top layer again and then repeat this until all five layers are
filled with the 25 point array...
Lathe Tool
One of the many tools included with LightWave to ease your Modeling
work load.
Lightwave Metanurbs
In this lesson, we turn to Lightwave 3D to consider its most distinguishing
feature--Metanurbs modeling. Once again, we cannot hope to do more than
introduce this profound tool. But, as with the last lesson, this introduction
should be enough to grasp the essence of the concept.

Modeling an orc with Lightwave 3d
Create with your favourite painting program a side view and a front
view of the orc. It doesn't have to be very detailed, I prefer add detail
directly on the model, here we need only the guidelines.
Modeling and texturing a photorealistic fish
In this tutorial we're going to do things a little differently then
you may be used to. Because our goal is to model and texture a realistic
fish, we're going to start with the texture map as the basis for building
our model. Please note that although I'm partial to LightWave, this tutorial
is applicable to any 3d application that supports images in the modeler
viewport. Please feel free to download the images on this page and follow
along.
Modeling Guns
The goal here is to take the student step by step through modeling projects,
so that they may learn by example. The Modeling Process series will cover
my entire modeling process, but they are also geared for individuals who
are of an intermediate skill level as I will only be highlighting the
steps taken. You will not find a pictorial history of every point I pulled
and why I did it as such, simply because it would only be useful if the
student were to create a copy of my model.
Modeling Sci-Fi Spacecraft in Lightwave Using VertiBevel
Lightwave 3d models. It has been crafted to combine certain features
of Lightwave's built-in Bevel and Smooth Shift functions and add enhanced
functionality for the user. VertiBevel adds several capabilities, allowing
the user to bevel several selected polygons as a group, the ability to
set up multiple subsequent bevels, and the ability to actually draw the
edge profile of your bevel before it is performed.
Perfect Bevels
Here's a simple way to make perfect bevels every time.
Poly-Line-Fun
One of the recent holy grail quests in CG has been to finally get some
decent hair onto character; gone are the days when you can pick out the
CG folk at a party by the way they always wear tights, and are totally
bald. We’re going to look at a simple way to make hairs, grass,
and other fibers without the benefit of plugins .
Red Peppers
Upon public request (Johnny9ball) I decided to make this tutorial on

free!
